About the candidate

Chris is a husband, father, a public servant, and a leader. Chris has served two successive terms on the Dennis Select Board, three of those years as the chair of the board. He is the Executive Officer for the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod and was selected nationally as their Executive Officer of the Year. He was also featured by Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine in their annual recognition of “40 Under 40,” and he is a graduate of Cape Cod's Community Leadership Institute. 

With over a decade of public service, Chris has served regionally as a member of the Cape Covid-19 Response Taskforce and the Barnstable County Economic Development Council. At the federal level, Chris has served on the staffs of two U.S. senators from Massachusetts and a U.S. secretary of state. 

Public service is personal to Chris. At the age of thirteen, after losing his mother to cancer, Chris came to understand that one’s life circumstances were not always of one's making. This lesson has guided his career and is evidenced in his activism on behalf of families and neighbors in need. He lives in Dennis with his wife and daughter.
